Description
The traditional Christmas Eve Vesper at Basel Cathedral combines word and music in a contemplative celebration on the eve of Christmas. Together with an ad hoc orchestra, the choir contributes to this liturgical service. Following the service at 5:00 PM, the traditional Vesperblasen (tower music) resounds from the cathedral tower with the Basel City Brass Band, where the audience can join in singing Christmas carols.
